A small text file a website leaves in your browser so it can remember something between page loads or count a visit. Some are needed for a page to work at all; the rest are optional.

What is set here

This site itself is static and sets very little. Most of what appears in your browser comes from embedded third parties:

Analytics: aggregate page views and traffic sources, not tied to your identity
GetYourGuide: set when the live availability calendar loads and when you follow a booking link, including affiliate attribution
YouTube: set only if you press play on an embedded video, since the players load on click

Turning them off

Every major browser can block or delete cookies, and most allow third-party cookies to be refused specifically. Doing so does not break the pages here — the availability calendar and the videos may stop loading, and a booking made afterwards may not be attributed to this site, which costs us rather than you.
