About Phuket Boat Tours
An independent comparison of the shared boat tours that leave Phuket for the Phi Phi Islands and Phang Nga Bay. We compare tour listings, official visitor information and recent traveller feedback. We do not operate or personally conduct these tours, we hold no bookings and we run no boats. Every tour sits on the comparison of Phuket boat tours, and every figure carries the month it was last read.
Why this site exists
Search for a boat tour out of Phuket and you get operator homepages and three marketplace category pages. None of them tells you the thing that decides the cost: two of the Phi Phi boats compared here collect a 400 THB national park fee in cash at the pier and two have already paid it, which reverses the price order.
That is the gap this site fills. One page, six bookable tours, the same thirty-one fields read off each listing, and a table showing what the day costs after the park has taken its share.
How we check things
Prices, ratings, review counts, inclusions and restrictions are read directly from each operator's live listing and stamped with the month. Park fees are checked against the published national park rate schedule rather than against what a blog said in 2019 — several still print fees that changed years ago.
Seasonal facts, such as the annual Maya Bay closure from 1 August to 30 September and the monsoon window, are checked against national park information and the operators' own booking-page notices, which is where the closure is stated first.
Nothing here is written from memory, and nothing is copied from a platform description.
What we do not do
We are not a tour operator, a travel agency or a seller of travel, and this is not the official website of any operator or booking platform. We take no payments, hold no reservations and cannot change, cancel or refund a booking.
We also do not invent a local guide persona to make the writing feel authoritative. Nobody on this site claims to have been on the boat last Tuesday. What we claim is that the listings were read carefully and the fees were checked against the source.
How the site earns
Booking links on this site are affiliate links: if you book through one, the platform pays a commission at no extra cost to you. It does not change your price, and it does not decide the order of the comparison — the editorial pick is the tour with the lowest all-in cost on its route, not the highest commission.
The full explanation is on the affiliate disclosure page.
Corrections
Fees change, boats change hands and piers move. If something here has gone stale, tell us and it gets fixed with the next check rather than at the next redesign.
